CHAMPAGNE ON ICE AS CELTS INCH CLOSER

Celtic inched closer to a 52nd league title in 136 years of unbroken history, despite being held to a draw at home by Rangers, Scotland's youngest club.

Ange Postecoglou's side stay six points clear with only three games remaining and a near insurmountable 19-goal advantage over the Huns.

Celtic overcame early Hun pressure to take the lead through Jota's close-range finish in what was almost a carbon copy of Abada's goal here against them last month.

Now unbeaten in 29 league games since September, Postecoglou's side effectively only need three points from their three remaining games - at home to Hearts or 'the Rangers reserves' as they're better known as, and the Premiership's boot boys — Motherwell and away to Dundee United - to officially secure Celtic's 10th title in 11 years.

The champagne is currently on ice, but look out those party hats Bhoys, because sooner or later, that league flag is coming back to Parkhead.

Northmen Southmen, comrades all; soon there'll be no...
