GG HAT-TRICK SENDS CELTS THREE PTS CLEAR

Celtic edged three points clear of Rangers at the Scottish Premiership summit after Giorgos Giakoumakis' hat-trick scuttled a spirited Dundee side.

The Parkhead men took advantage of a Rangers draw with Dundee United earlier on in the day, but had to fight back from 1-0 down after Danny Mullen had put the Dens Park side ahead.

Giakoumakis bagged a quickfire double to turn the tables in Mark McGhee's first game as Dundee manager.

Ryan Sweeney levelled, but GG pounced late to seal an impressive hat-trick and a massive win for the club.
