CELTIC SIGN THREE MORE PLAYERS BEFORE TRANSFER DEADLINE

Celtic have completed a last gast move for Tottenham defender Cameron Carter-Vickers.

The defender has moved to Parkhead after an 11th hour move was agreed between the two clubs.

A move for the 23-year-old USA international looked dead in the water earlier on Tuesday, however Celtic and Tottenham were able to thrash out an agreement with only minutes to spare.

This comes after Celtic had earlier announced the arrival of Benfica winger Jota.

The 22-year-old has moved to Parkhead for a one season bedding in period - with the option to buy next summer if they like what they see.

A Portuguese youth international who has also played with Real Vallodolid in La Liga.

Jota becomes manager Ange Postecoglou 's eleventh capture of the summer window and a second of the day following confirmation Giorgos Giakoumakis had signed from Dutch side Venlo.

Giakoumakis was top scorer in the Dutch Eredivisie last season and was also being chased by German club Werder Bremen, however the lure of Celtic proved too much and the Greek international will now ply his trade in Glasgow for the next 5 years.
